Who can attend Night to Shine?

Everyone with special needs aged 14 and up is invited to this unforgettable evening! Best of all, this spectacular event is absolutely FREE for all our cherished guests and volunteers.

Prepare to be celebrated like royalty! Our guests will enjoy a heartwarming welcome, beautiful corsages and boutonnieres, a grand red carpet entrance, a fun-filled photo booth, lively dancing, a delicious dinner, exciting limo rides, and so much more!

Every single guest will be crowned King or Queen of the prom, because that’s how God sees them every day!

extraordinary!

We’re thrilled to have you on board to show our honored guests just how cherished they are.

Please take a look at the Volunteer Descriptions below and choose your role during registration. Remember,
background checks are mandatory for all volunteers aged 18 and over— no exceptions!

STUDENT VOLUNTEERS

Ages 14-18 still in school

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our mission, and we couldn’t do it with out YOU!

Volunteer Descriptions are below so you can pick your perfect role during registration. Every hour you contribute makes a difference, and we’ll happily provide a letter or sign any required forms to recognize your amazing efforts and acknowledge your volunteer hours.

We do have age limits for
certain volunteer roles!
You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer and 16 to be a buddy.

Your generous financial contribution will enable us to provide an extraor dinary evening for over 100 Honored
Guests with special needs and all of our volunteers.
Night to Shine is a Tim Tebow
Foundation event and is hosted by St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church, however the event is fully funded by our community donors
and indivuduals.

VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS

Volunteers, you are the magic! With so many exciting roles waiting to be filled, you have the power to create an unforgettable, smooth, and fun-filled night for our community guests.

Get ready for Night to Shine 2026—an amazing opportunity for our community, our incredible volunteers, and our honored guests to truly shine.

Most importantly, let’s let God’s love shine brighter than ever!

BATHROOM ATTENDANT Help guests find the restroom, and offer assistance in the restroom if needed. If a guest requires assistance with more than getting in and out of a stall or hand washing, it is appropriate to contact their parent or caregiver for assistance.
BUDDY Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event. Sit with their guest during dinner and engage with them in conversation. Volunteer buddies must be at least 16 yrs old.
CHEERING SECTION This team will line the red carpet and cheer guests on as they walk through the paparazzi.
CHEERING SECTION LEADER Coordinate the Cheering Section Team to line the red carpet and cheer on guests as they walk down the carpet. Must be age 18 or older.

FLOWER TEAM Help guests select and pin on their flowers prior to their portrait.
GIFT TAKEAWAY TEAM Manage gifts and help each guest collect their favors and portrait to take home.
HAIR & MAKE-UP TEAM Help make our queens feel even more special by having their hair and make-up done. Professional or high skilled please.
LIMO TEAM Assist guests as they enter and exit the limos, hold doors for guests as they enter/exit the building to go for a limo ride.
PAPARAZZI Be one of the photographers for the night. Grab your camera and take photos our guests enjoying all the events of the night.
PARENT ROOM Love on the parents/ caretakers by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to chat with them.
PARKING TEAM Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic. Maintain open fire and emergency lanes.

RED CARPET ROOM Assist guests find seat ing and provide drinks prior to red carpet. Help direct the buddy to the end of the carpet.
SENSORY ROOM Spend time with guests who may have become over-stimulated on the dance floor or in other areas of the prom. Interact with sensory activities or simply providing them with some quiet time.
SERVER Bring our guests and buddies, drinks, dinner and dessert. Set and clear the tables. Be involved in the crowning.
STATION MANAGERS Direct Guests and Buddies to the various stations (hair/makeup, floral, photo portrait, photo booth, meal and karaoke, etc.)
VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN Greet all volunteers, give them their name badges and direct them to their designated area.
WELCOME TEAM Welcome guests as they arrive, and guide them to the appropriate place for guest registration.

Certain volunteer roles need just a handful of amazing individuals, and once we hit that magic number,
we’ll unveil an exciting new opportunity for you to dive into!

Buddies and first time volunteers are required to attend a mandatory meeting prior to the prom. Dates will be announced
at the beginning of February 2026. All volunteers are encouraged to attend a meeting as a refresher for the night.

SET-UP AND TEAR DOWN TEAM
Join the excitement and be part of our amazing volunteer crew for prom! We need your help to set up and tear down this unforgettable event. A detailed schedule of daily tasks will be sent out the week before prom, with each day’s items clearly outlined. Plus, you’ll receive a daily email during prom week with an updated checklist to keep everything on track.

Help set up tables, chairs, hair and makeup stations, check-in tables, and the floral area. Set the tables, assist with the red carpet and arch, and so much more! It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow volunteers and soak in the excitement before the big night.

After the prom, we ask all volunteers to stay just 30 minutes to help tear down the room and put everything away. With everyone’s help, it takes no more than 30 minutes to wrap it all up!
